I am now ONE YEAR OLD!

I am now One year old and have grown a lot this year - mommy also brought home a new daddy for us (Bobby) and we really love him.  I have become quite the daddy's girl - although I am still mommy's baby bear.

HEE HEE - I am now bigger than Anya (my big sister) - but I know my place and she's still the alpha female - we play together very well and I have to be careful because I am stronger than her now - don't want to hurt my big sister.

THE PIGGY AND THE WOOLUFF!

On Saturday, September 22, 2012, Mommy took Anya and me to a Pig Roast.  I wasn't sure what she meant by that, but when we got there, we all had a lot of fun.  There were lots of people, music, and food.

I made a new furry friend.  His name is Diriko - he looks a lot like Anya, with white fur and blue eyes, but he is TWICE as big as she is.  Mommy said Diriko is part Wolf - that's why he's so big.  MY, WHAT BIG BEAUTIFUL EARS HE HAS!  He was very handsome and nice and let us play with him in his big playground. 

Mommy stayed close by at the Pig Roast. 

All I can say about that is, I am GLAD that I am not a PIGGY!

THE LAMPSHADE DIARY

Today I went with Mommy to the animal clinic.  I had no idea what was going on - I usually get a cookie - but NOT this time.  Mommy left me there - she never does that - she always stays with me - I don't like that at all.  I don't understand why, but I was a big girl and went in the back room with the technician.

They gave me something and it made me go to sleep.  Then, when I woke up - I had this STUPID LAMPSHADE over my head.  What's up with that?

I felt really funny and dizzy and cried for my Mommy.  When she picked me up, I cried a little, but felt better when Mommy let me sit in her lap.  I had to bring home that lampshade.  Mommy said I can take it off in a few days.  She said I had to have a special procedure done - she called it "spayed" - I don't know what that means, but I will be glad when the lampshade goes away - it is hard to eat or drink - Mommy has been holding the food and water bowl up for me so I can reach it.  She also has been giving me medicine, but it tastes like peanut butter and I really like that!

MY WEEKEND AT ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

I had a great time this weekend with my Mommy and big sister Anya.  We went to Rocky Mountain National Park and stayed the weekend.  Mommy was on duty Saturday and Sunday, and we got to stay with her and hang out at the Park. 

Saturday night, we stayed at a cabin with some of Mommy's park friends.  They were nice and had a dog that we played with. 

We ate breakfast early Sunday morning at Upper Beaver Mountains (in the Park) with Mommy.  For lunch, we ate at a picnic area close to Fall River.

We sure were pooped when we got home and me took a long nap. 

Mommy said we were very good and will take us to more places with her.

I AM 25 WEEKS OLD NOW! AND, WELCOME MY NEW LITTLE BROTHER THUMPER!

In two days, I will be 25 weeks old - and I already weight 37 pounds!
My Mommy says I am getting cuter everyday - AHHHH, she's just biased because she loves me so much.

My big sister, ANYA the Siberian Husky, is still my best friend forever.  Guess what?  We are going camping with Mommy this coming Saturday - it is my first time to go camping, and I am very excited.  ANYA said that we will have lots of fun, especially snuggling with Mommy at night.

ALSO - I have a new little adopted Brother - His name is THUMPER SNUGGLEBUNNY MARSTON-MCGREGOR.  His full name wouldn't fit on his nametag, so Mommy just had THUMPER MARSTON put on it.  He's so cute and fluffy.  I gave him puppy kisses, and he's so little, it made him all wet (heeee).

Anya, my big sister, is my new BFF - my new pal - we play together, sleep next to each other, and I love giving her my big puppy kisses - we love to sit with Mommy together, ride in her truck, and get I am 22 weeks old today and I am already almost as big as she is, but that's okay, I love her anyway.

GRACIE GRADUATES PUPPY KINDERGARTEN!
I graduated today from PetsMart puppy kindergarten - got my certificate and a picture with a graduation cap.  Mommy said she is very proud of me.

Also, I weigh 29 pounds today.
